2011
AP PET PEOPLE LTD launches in Limassol, Cyprus with one mobile grooming van and the companies owners providing grooming to clients, inside our vans, outside the clients home. Pet Sitting and Pet Taxi services are also offered, for the first time in Cyprus.
2012
To meet the high demand, our mobile grooming fleet is expanded and our services are offered to all cities nationwide.
2013
Saw the launch of our home delivery service, with competitive prices and FREE home delivery, our clients quickly took advantage of this new and convenient service. Our home pet store delivery service is available to the whole of Cyprus. In 2013 Pet Stop Nicosia by Pet People opened in Strovolos, Nicosia. Two delivery vehicles are added to the company and the employee number doubles.
2014
With the success of our Pet Stop Nicosia store, two stores are opened in Limassol. One in Germasogeia and another in Polemedia. Our Stores are equipped with full grooming salons and salon grooming is provided along with mobile grooming services.
2015
With more clients than the square metres available, our Germasogeia store is relocated to Theos Pet Supermarket in Agios Athanasios. With private parking for over 50 Vehicles, over 1000sqm of building space and a kids corner, Theos Pet Supermarket is the first of its kind in the Cypriot pet market. Once again our Employee number doubled in 2015.
2016
Following the success of Theos Pet Supermarket in Agios Athanasios, our store in Polemedia relocated to Kato Polemedia and Mikes Pet Supermarket is opened. With three floors and over 1000sqm building space, comfortable grooming viewing areas and a large selection of Live Animals, once again our new store makes a difference.
2017
Aquarium Maintenance & Dog Training services were introduced in 2017, along with the constrution of our Luxury all Suite Dog Hotel in Limassol with 24/7 camera access to our clients smart phones. Our mobile grooming services, Free home delivery, pet sitting, pet taxi, grooming salons and Pet Supermarkets continue to grow month on month.
2018
We welcomed 2018 with a strong growth shown in our sales, team size and customer satisfaction poles. So far 2018 has seen the launch of our online grooming booking system, with our clients able to book online straight from their computer or smart phones... Our mobile grooming fleet is being expanded once again in 2018 and our price structure changing to make our services more accessible to new clients.
2019
At the end of 2018 we opened 2 new stores bringing the total of our pet supermarkets to 5. We now have 4 pet supermarkets in Limassol and 1 in Nicosia. We start 2019 focusing on expanding our brand and excited for new projects and new ideas.
2020
With the global pandemic of Covid-19 we invested in our team by increasing training and increasing the average number of employees at our stores to improve customer service and focus on efficient and on-time home deliveries. Pet People joined Foody, Entertainer & Direct Deals in 2020 to provide more stay-safe at-home services!
2021
2021 brought the opening of our first Veterinary Clinic. Our head veterinarian Dr. Vasilis Ioannou has decades of experience in general surgery, beggining his carereer in Greece before moving to Cyprus.
2022
Theo's Pet Supermarket is rennovated and so is our Luxury Dog Hotel. Theo's becomes even bigger and our Dog Hotel adds high quality finishes to all of the rooms. A collaboration with the leading Grocery chain in Cyprus, Alphamega, begins. The first Pet People Express store opens in Alphamega Egkomi, offering THOUSANDS of Pet Products for Alphamega shoppers.
2023
In 2023 Pet Stop Nicosia was renamed and relocated 100m on the same street to a bigger and better location. With 3 floors and over 1000m2, Nikolas Pet Supermarket was opened. In the fall of 2023 many new brands were added to our exclusive imports, offering exlcusive discounts and offers in our stores!
